Current worker shortages are real and being seen nationwide. Change is needed and now is the time!

Student's enduring long hours in classes irrelevant to their career development and facing financial hardships created by expensive training programs that require unpaid clinical externships has proven to be a highly ineffective way to strengthen and sustain the future of our healthcare workforce.

As a registered apprenticeship program,                                   works to attract current and aspiring healthcare professionals into the field of surgical technology, not deter them. Our program provides an alternate route for earning certification and gaining employment as a highly-skilled member of the surgical team. This is especially beneficial for individuals who prefer career and technical training over the more expensive, academic route and for employers who are needing to fill positions.

WAGE PROGRESSION

Apprentice is compensated a percentage of entry level pay which increases as they progress through the program creating an attractive "earn while you learn" opportunity.

Graduates Holding Diplomas

NATIONAL CREDENTIAL

Apprentice is awarded a nationally recognized certificate issued by the U.S. Department of Labor and eligible to take the Tech in Surgery - Certified (TS-C) certification exam issued by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
